The last day of operations of the first section of the Triple B wild horse capture operation concluded with 30 more captured (7 Studs, 18 Mares, and 5 Foals) bringing the total to 518. 518 of the 1500 wild horses targeted have been captured to date. Released back to range were 29 mares, 27 studs after 28 mares were given PZP-22. (Link to all reports from the first section of this operation HERE.)
One more wild horse has died after suffering from colic symptoms. This brings the deaths to 9 (read more here).
Capture will continue after the temporary holding site and operations move north.
The video is provided to show wild horses loaded to go Palomino Valley Center in Reno and those released after fertility control. Those that remain on the range need to us to continue to fight for their freedom…. those that have gone to holding need us to continue to fight against funding that could put a bullet in their heads. (Take action on the budget HERE).
We have engaged to address multiple issues at this operation and are addressing multiple issues in the chaos of DC. More as soon as time allows.

We have a very generous supporter that will double contributions through Feb 18th, the birthday of our founder Laura Leigh. Our work continues to address field, table and courtroom.

Note: This OLD stud on the range wanted us to REMIND BLM that it is a MYTH that blue eyed horses are blind. They run into panels because you scare them… and they should be afraid… they are wild horses.
