Our founder, Laura Leigh, joined podcast host Debbie Loucks to talk a bit about our American wild horses. In the first segment of the podcast author Susan Friedland talks about her new book written to help horse owners overcome the grief of losing their heart horse. (you can listen here)

What is Horsemanship Radio? Monty Roberts Online University in conjunction with the Horse Radio Network presents an online radio show (podcast) dedicated to the exploration of good horsemanship throughout the world.  Hosted by Monty Roberts’ daughter, Debbie Roberts Loucks, the show includes segments, tips and interviews exploring good horsemanship.

From Leigh: I did not know Debbie was the daughter of Monty Roberts until after the show had taped. I was busy running roundups, coordinating our range water watch team and dealing with all the cut-throat nonsense of DC. I simply truly enjoyed my first conversation with her and booked the taping. Debbie is intelligent, sensitive and articulate. I’ll be browsing past podcasts to listen to on the road. I hope you enjoy our chat too.

Our wild ones need us to really listen to them now. They walk into our world and partner with us to enrich and build our world. We need to walk with them into their world now and protect the “wild” they need to survive, the wild place that is engrained in their identity. The wild place that is linked to our own survival.

Our wild places and wild horses are in danger.
