Video explaining potential impact of “eco-sanctuary”

Elyse Gardner has uploaded a video on the potential impacts of the proposed “eco-sanctuary” in Wells, NV. This proposal is currently open for public comment until Sept. 18th.

Interested individuals should send written comments to the BLM Elko District Office, Wells Field Office, 3900 E. Idaho Street, Elko, NV 89801, Attn: Wild Horse Eco-Sanctuary, or fax at (775) 753-0385. Comments may also be submitted to the project e-mail address:EcoSanctuaryComments@blm.gov.

I assisted Elyse with language and photos. The photographs I added are all from the Antelope Complex. These are the animals that will be directly impacted.

The horses have sanctuary, the HMA. Holding facilities do not belong on an HMA.
