Dear Valentine

Valentine’s Day brings a time to celebrate love. To speak of love and honor those we cherish.

Throughout the ages, letters have carried messages of devotions far and wide. In honor of that tradition some of our team members penned letters in the tradition of “an old fashioned love letter.”

We are publishing a few days before Valentine’s Day in case you want to use the images to create your own letters. You can download the stationary at the links below the pdf.

Just use the arrows above to navigate through to the next page or you can open a new page in your browser by clicking HERE to simply scroll through the collection of letters.

We have also created pages where you can download the digital stationary our team used. You can download print out the stationary or use for your own digital messages. You can access blank pages of each to use for your own letters to family and friends.

Simply click the name to download a blank “piece of stationary.”

We are working on action items for you to take to help protect our treasured wild ones.

Scoping for the Jackson Mountain HMAP is now open. You can learn more and comment HERE.

We are expecting our wild ones in holding to be labelled a taxpayer burden (just as they were in 2017) and changes in policy that will allow them to be killed or sold without limits (slaughter). We prepared an series of articles that include some alternatives you can access HERE.

We expect the Save America’s Forgotten Equines (SAFE) and the Wild Horse and Burro Protection Act (often called the “Titus bill”) to be reintroduced by the end of March and will keep you updated.

WHE has active litigation to protect several herds, gain equity in planning, protect First Amendment Rights and against cruelty in off-limits to the public facilities. We are working to bring those cases to conclusion and are preparing additional litigation.

All of our work is only possible with your support. We thank you for keeping the critical work we do at WHE running for our wild ones.

There are several ways to support the work of WHE including through iGive while you shop. You can learn more HERE.
