Information is presented before a critical action item on the budget. We have presented it this way with hopes that you look at the information and understand why picking up a phone, sending a personal FAX or letter, is vital. The budget debate that may kill tens of thousands of wild horses is going to heat up, likely to come to a head by the second week of January.
E-Mag used in Webinars, updated November 2017; legislative issues, the big picture.
Our readers have asked for updated material to use as a resource in meetings with Representatives and at equine events this summer, 2017.
These were created rapidly, as our desk is full of pressing matters. We hope these help until we can insert some fancy graphics.
If you need a more detailed report for Congressional representatives or media, we have one available.

Senate and House Representatives (copy and paste if you do not want to create your own letter):
“I do not want any federal funds used to kill healthy wild horses. I want restrictions to the BLM “sale program” to be maintained. Killing any healthy wild horse, or facilitating such actions through sales, is not acceptable.
Spaying wild horses is not legally warranted and is a brutal and inappropriate action when other options are available. This method is simply being proposed to satisfy those that stand to profit from the practice, financially.
The Department of Interior budget has multiple options to save a few million dollars. Not one subsidy to livestock is addressed in the budget and the federal grazing program is out of control. The wild horses should not be shot, or sent to slaughter, to continue the broken grazing program. As an American I find it unacceptable, completely unacceptable.”
Kids can help!
